bitter lemon

I'm baaaack (hi Ali). I've been MIA for a while because I'm extremely busy with work (everyone except retail staff like Christmas extended hours so be g-damn grateful we're open til 12am, bitchachos) and to add to my overflowing plate, I've been summoned for jury duty.

Anyway enough of me dying from overcommitting, let's talk clothes (yay).


So the new Chloë Sevigny x Opening Ceremony Pre-Spring 2011 line has gone on pre-sale and I'm not sure if I'm too impressed.

I'm a bit disappointed at the fact that it was released so late after the presentation so I guess the excitement died a while ago. I was most looking forward to the shoes because my CSxOC buckle shoes are a godsend but there's something about the new line that kinda says "poorly made" to me. Maybe it's the visible glue on the zoom picture...

A bigger disappointment is how overpriced the dresses are. I assume their target market isn't rich trophy wives so I don't understand how the average young trendoid (who are usually pov students) are going to afford it. (Actually now that I think of it, most famous bloggers get all their clothes for free anyway...)
